Dennis Potter is Riverhouse Fly Company. Dennis has been tying flies for 35 years and sharing his skills a tying teacher for nearly as long. Dennis travels the greater midwest during the fall and winter conducting group tying classes using his “Close-Up Video Tying theater”. The magnification is great and the resolution, flawless. He spends most of the summer months at the “Riverhouse” located on the banks of the AuSable River in northern Michigan, in the heart of the holy water. He uses the Riverhouse as a bace of operations while instructing fly anglers who have basic skills to become better anglers. The instructional time is spent making the cast more efficient and perfecting different methods of fly presentation. The latter is done in the river. A four to six hour session can save an average angler for struggling for several years on their own.
